Let me introduce myself.....

My name is Anna Grand and I spent over ten years as a qualified personal trainer before life asked me to pause. After being diagnosed with Osteoarthritis,  I made the difficult decision to retire and step away from the work I loved. Ten years on, with more experience, patience, and a deeper understanding of my own body. I have re-qualified as a personal trainer once again. This time, my focus is on helping people build strength for the later years - so they can move well, feel good in their bodies, grow in confidence, and invest in long-term health that truly supports their life.

Boxercise & Kick Boxercise

Boxercise is an exercise concept based on the training method used by boxers. Sessions typically involve hitting focus pads and does not involve hitting an opponent. It is fun, challenging and a safe workout which is great for stress bustng, accessible to all ages and fitness levels.

The Emmett Technique

The Emmett Technique is a unique form of body relaxation therapy involving a light finger pressure at specific points.

The Emmett Technique will be used alongside your fitness training by restoring movement quickly if for example you need to release tight hips, restiricted shoulders, or lingering stiffness. 

Emmett Technique can also help improve your range of motion within minutes, meaning exercises can be perfomed properly instead of compensating or reinforcing poor patterns.

This will complement your training and help with you moving more freely and you'll feel immediate changes in your body.

Mobility
 

If you are feeling stiff, or restricted in certain movements, I can help improve your mobility so yoiur body moves more freely and comfortably.

I will use a combination of targeted techniques and movemnet work to quickly reduce tension and improve your muscles and joints function. This will help in your everyday functional movements such as reaching or even just getting up and down can feel easier and more natural.
